And Anjala  &  Amrita..tastes good and really gets the weight down. I too use it in Sambar, molakoottal etc.

UshaS, This is a most welcome recipe. Am planning to try it. I use a chunk in soups, sabjies, sambhar, mollakootal....but have not tried this interesting variation. Thanks!

Hi Shobs..I too started cooking this one only from '87 when we were posted to BMY. Used to buy from the Santacruz market. Since then I have been buying this.I used to make this particular recipe very often to shed some weight. It works..
